Dawnary is a mobile application focused on personal diary recording. We are committed to providing you with a minimalist and healing writing space, allowing you to easily record every moment in your life.

How to Use Dawnary?
Start Recording: After opening the app, tap the “+” button to create a new diary entry
Edit Content: Supports rich text editing, you can insert images and format text
Auto-Save: The app will automatically save when you switch to background or close the app
View History: On the main page, you can view all diary entries by date
Where is Data Stored?
Local Storage: All diary content is stored locally on your device by default
iCloud Backup (Optional): You can enable iCloud backup in settings to sync data to your other devices
How to Enable iCloud Backup?
Open app settings
Find the “iCloud Backup” option
Turn on backup
The first sync may take some time, please be patient
How to Delete a Diary Entry?
In the diary list, swipe left on a diary entry and tap the “Delete” button to delete it.
How to Insert Images?
On the edit page, tap the image icon on the keyboard toolbar
Choose “Select from Photo Library” or “Take Photo”
The image will be automatically inserted at the current cursor position
How is Location & Weather Used?
Location & Weather is optional
If you grant location access and enable insertion in settings, the app can add your current city and/or weather to diary entries
The app stores the city, weather, and the coordinates needed to restore that context in diary metadata
This metadata is stored locally on your device and, if iCloud Sync is enabled, in your private iCloud database
You can disable future insertion at any time in settings
Does the App Require Internet Connection?
No. Dawnary’s core functionality is completely offline and works without an internet connection. Network connection is only needed when iCloud backup is enabled for data synchronization.
How to Export or Share Diary Entries?
On the diary edit page, tap the menu button in the top right corner
Select “Generate Share Image”
The app will convert diary content to image format
You can save to photo library or share directly
